although i cringe whenever pitchfork and i appear to have the same taste, at this point i'm going to chalk it up to the idea that even once in awhile they get something right. it's entirely probable that they're right at least twice a year.

i can't believe you don't like the new tv on the radio album, but you don't like fleet foxes, so it's understandable that you don't appreciate everything that i do. and that's ok. that's why we all have blogs because we all have different tastes {and we're all smart enough to voice them online and disagree with most of what bitchfork says : honestly, what once was a great commentary on up and coming bands has turned into a circle of frat boys seeing who can slam the next band to the ground}

wolf like me wasn't that terrible.

and finally, you mention on your site that a "real frustration [for you] though is dealing with the realization that I'm not like a member of the cool blogging nerd community that shares all the secret songs and albums before they are released" that community is what i would like to call the music industry. i don't get songs or albums from a cadre of fellow bloggers, but from the PR men and women who work for major and minor labels alike. many songs, albums, or remixes are sent to me directly by the musicians themselves. maybe if you didn't mention pirating music on your site you'd be included in this so called inner sanctum as well.

I think you made some tpyos in your post so I fixed it for you. You can thank me later. Here's what you accidentally posted on your website:

It’s good enough that for the next month you won’t take the album out of your car. It’s good enough that you just might forget that you own any other albums at all. No matter how many more albums TV On The Radio release this is one that will always be remembered as a masterpiece.

Here's what I think you meant to write:

It’s good enough that for the next month you won’t take the album out of your trash can. It’s good enough that you just might forget that this band actually wrote Wolf Like Me. No matter how many more albums TV On The Radio release this is one that will always be remembered as the one Pitchfork gave a 9.2 (lol).

You're Welcome!!!
