I was sitting here on a rainy Saturday afternoon, thinking about life and all that comes with it, and I realized that it doesn’t really feel like Christmas. What happened? Maybe it’s because I was out of the States for two holiday seasons in a row and I don’t know what Christmas feels like anymore. Maybe it’s because climate change has taken virtually all of the cold nights and blustery snows and turned them into random spring like rainstorms. I can’t really put my finger on it.
But all of this is beside the point. In this boring raining afternoon I decided to do a little cleaning out of my email inbox. And I stumbled upon this little gem by John Neilson. He’s a musician of the singer songwriter sort and this piano song felt perfect when matched up with dreary weather and the early darkness so prevalent during the winter season.
Gossip girls?
have no fear lyss, gossip girl is on it’s way. it might be before the new year, but i have three episodes of catching up to do. i’ve been really busy with BOTM 03, seven says of sufjan, my year ending list of best albums, and a new series called BOTR. fear not, in the midst of all of this i’m working on getting gossip girl together.
