In 2002 Conor Oberst got together with a load of friends and recored an album simply entitled A Christmas Album. The album is only available for purchase from Saddle Creek and all profits of the album sale go to benefit the Nebraska AIDS Project. The last track, The Night Before Christmas, is a dramatic reading of the classic Christmas poem set to a plinking piano track. It’s a wonderful way to hear The Night Before Christmas.
