I’m Josh. And I’m here to save this blog from the bad music that exemplifies today’s pop culture. (ie. Gossip Girl) So, on to the real music.
I got out of my Calculus class today and was totally drained.
(Lack of sleep) x (Reviewing my high school calculus class) = (A bad mood)
So I walk towards the door and turn my iPod on.
Cloud Control begins playing “Your 8th Birthday” right into my ears.
The guy in front of me holds the door open, just for me.
I walk around a couple, deeply in love,
dreading the fact they have to go to different classes,
unable to let go of each other’s hands.
I can’t help but smiling the whole way back to my place.
The world is beautiful. Don’t be confused by Gossip Girl and their pitiful music.
Sorry for the lack of information about the band. It’s late and I’m looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow.

Come on now… Gossip Girl is not that bad. There are at least one or two songs on each week that are decent.
There is the occasional gem. But many of the songs are just trash.
i agree with kate. at least one or two songs a week are great. so stop hatin josh. i only include all the songs because, let’s be honest now, some people like crap music. like rihanna. so get off your high horse.
Plus really all I am listening for is Kristen Bell’s voice. Oh how I miss Veronica Mars… Now that’s a show to watch on dvd if you didn’t watch it while it was on. And it had that ability to have music for a moment where after you hear that song again, all you can think of is that moment in the show.
kate, you’re brilliant. i totally agree. the best part of gossip girl is the fact that in some way it’s tied to veronica mars. kristen bell has a great voice and i’m glad she’s getting paid to basically record a few lines in a studio once a month.
